Definitely record what you experienced! It's possible you switched right there and then, you just need to think about the experience more in the morning
I started tulpamancy for like 6 months now. But when I asked my tulpa(her name is Kirara) how old she is she told me 2 and a half months. She's interested in switching and I'm also fine with it but I don't know whether we are ready or not. She talks in my mind voice sometimes it's thoughts and mostly she doesn't talk unless I think of her or ask her something. She has a wolf form and when I talked about changing her form she told that she was fine with it. I was confused that whether we should try switching now or should we wait longer?(edited)
I saw a guide on YT about making a tulpa huggable. I am supposed to sculpt him by remembering sensations of human body, smells etc. But i am terrible in having a memory of physical sensations. On top of that, how can i have a physical sensation of something i have never touched? For example, my tulpa has a very big hooked nose, yet i never touched anyone's nose like that lol Any tips?
Thinking about how to reconstruct the senses will help you remember, and it's a lot easier to remember what something feels like when you're reaching out for it
As for a hooked nose, you can touch the tip of your nose, which should feel like the end of a hook?(edited)

Some people script out personalities for their tulpa, it will diverge from what you've scripted but at least the script will provide a baseline
Something you can do is make a list of traits then focus on each trait for 3 minutes or so, and think about your tulpa being that trait during those 3 minutes
It’s not really any different from a non fictive one I don’t think. But then again I’ve never had a headmate without a character origin

and idk any of her traits other than nice
9:59 PM
btw if it helps im basing it on margot robbies version lol
10:01 PM
so yeah if anyone got any other method or a trait or smth
If you still want to after that long
tbh I don't think it's a good idea to make a character tulpa for a character you're just newly infatuated with
You might lose interest quickly

Most important thing about making a tulpa from a character. Recognize that they aren’t the character, they are a person who will develop and deviate on their own. Don’t expect an exact copy and don’t force them to be something they don’t want to be

Actually I think that's better than waiting for the video since you should run with the traits you want rather than making a spitting image of another person
Also note that a fictive who's form is just based on a fictional character but holds almost no resemblance to them personality wise is still a fictive. It's natural and healthy for a young headmate's personality to change over time(edited)

are you able while watching a movie to feel as if the character is just in front of you?
if they look at the camera it feels as if they look at you?

or can you think of your friend or your parent or someone you like and just feel the way they make you feel? Like warmth in your heart.
i’m not sure if that would make sense to you but there is a “feel” of what kind of person someone is, that is not expressed in words
10:29 PM
in my view that fee is much more important than having a cold list of personality traits
10:29 PM
which makes fictives or factives easier to make because you can develop that sense of personality by interacting with the person or watching them
Like Leiko is saying, the holistic understanding of the character you want to make into a tulpa is what is important--not the ways we describe certain aspects of that character
Leiko
but how do i make a fictive tulpa
